If you are thinking Sandhya is doing a full-fledged role in Simbudevan’s ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’, guess again. The actress is only playing a cameo, which would come for 20 minutes. She however claims her role would be so important.

“I think I am the first person in Tamil cinema to play a Red Indian princess. My costumes are so different and designer Sai has done a great job. I make a 20-minute appearance, which is so vital for the movie,” she says.

Heaping confidence on ‘Odipolaama’, one of her forthcoming films, Sandhya says, “It’s about a young man and woman, who are not in love, but elope. What made them run away from home and what happened to their lives is the crux.”

The ‘Kadhal’ actress’s hero in the film is Parimal, younger brother of Sangeetha. On the actor, she says, “Parimal might be doing his first film. But he is an amazing artiste. He has done justice to the role.”

On her other projects, she says, “I play Srividya’s role in the remake of ‘Nootrukku Nooru’, which has Vinay in the lead. Besides, I am also doing the Kannada film ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ with P Vasu, which would hit the screens in January.”
